Ellie just loves you (with a big smile on her face)
Tony loves you because you had me, aww
And I love you because your love, support, care, guidance, and so much more has been the foundation I've grown on all these years. Thank you mom, I love you!
She is such a fun and sweet little lady! This past year has been one of new abilities, new experiences, (new attitudes!) and all in all a great one. She is definitely our worrier, cleaner, resident mommy to any small child in sight, self-protector and comic relief. Little Mommy is her instuctional manul right now, she has the whole thing memorized, word & concept. Since our shipment from WA hasn't arrived yet, this is one of the 4 books we have (thanks to grampa & grama r.) and she has it with her all day, every day. It does start young, look out future husband. And she's such a smart little thing that keeps us on our toes. She can spin me up faster than any of the others & sometimes I think does it just for sport. (there's so much of her daddy in her, & why I love her so much!) We can wait to see what the big 3 brings!
has 2 1/2 new teeth...is so close to crawling she can almost taste it...loves to eat, but that's no surprise, she's an Arns'...is talking a bunch, "da da da da" when she's happy and "MA MA MA MA!!" when she's not...really responds to Chinese & has developed a precious bond with our Ayi...finally got a crib after 9 months of pack 'n' play dwelling...loves looking at pictures of family & friends, especially Whit & Kayla...is incredibly excited the Lockwood's are having a girl (and so is mommy :) )... has a really loving heart, she lays her head on our shoulders & gets excited when her family is near...blows kisses, especially to Tony, which is such a gift because he's having to work long hours right now...and is a really wonderful baby whom we are so thankful for.
Everywhere we go Chinese people comment, "san hei zi (3 kids)?" in disbelief. When we say, actually 5, they just shake their heads. In a culture where almost everyone only has one, they think we Western parents are either really amazing or really crazy. We just laugh, probably a little of both, but we wouldn't trade it for the world.
The gorgeous flowers that mysteriously appeared on our doorstep from the most wonderful husband in the entire universe! Thank you again, sweetie, I love them!
We went to dinner at a great Thai resturant in Tanasborne with a fountain out front.
Erin was keeping the boys in line, as usual.
The water was a big hit.
A big hit!
She did great with the party hat, Ellie that is!
"Happy 31 dear mommy, happy 31 to you!"
Even though half of our clan is all over here and there, it was a really really great day!
